There is one and only Dustin Case. After months of courting with Woodnsteel on Instagram, we first met Dustin in the flesh at Luke's shop {Mildblend Supply Co} in Chicago. We had driven 30 hours and Dustin drove 3 hours from Indiana...the blind date began and it was love at first sight. This is our first project together and hopefully many more to come. There are only 27 of these Freenote x Woodnsteel denim knives in existence.

Available in Indigo, Black & Bleach denim variations, the Hawthorn knife comes with a heavy handsewn leather belt sheath and denim carrying bag.The CPM D2 tool steel knives are hardened and tempered by Dustin in his workshop. 7 1/4" in length and with a 3" blade, the Hawthorn knife comes shaving sharp with a lasting cutting edge. The handles will last as long as the blade itself. Dustin used layers of denim laminated with epoxy resin under extremely high pressure to create a unique denim handle with a textured grip. Just like a pair of jeans, the knife handle will show custom fade and wear overtime.Click here to see more and shop the knives.
