My favorite chinos

I love these pants. The fabric is soft but still very thick and sturdy. The details are great. Craftsmanship is perfect. I have zero negative things to say. Freenote is the best American clothing brand there is. Buy ‘em

My favorite pants!

These are by far my favorite pants! The fit on these are just about perfect... not too tight and not too baggy. I like them so much I got them in multiple colors... just hoping the make black ones too!

Beautiful, Delicate Pants

I really loved these pants. Great color, cool fabric and a nice, relaxed fit. Unfortunately at the end of the very first day I wore them I was sitting on the tailgate of my truck and hopped off and heard a riiiiiip. Sure enough the seat of my pants had caught on something and immediately tore a fairly large v-shaped hole in the seat. I should have been more careful where I was sitting but for a pant that is advertised as repro, military fabric they did tear surprisingly easy. It was a bummer ending to a day of really digging my new pants and for or what I paid I wish I'd gotten more than one wear out of them. This is not my usual experience with Freenote Cloth, which is still my favorite clothing company.

The Deck Pant is the newest fit in our chino lineup. Our goal was to design a comfortable pant with a timeless aesthetic. Starting with our slim straight Workers Chino as a template, we opened up the top block by adding room to the thigh and giving the pant a higher rise for a more relaxed seat. The leg opening was also widened to create a balanced straight-fit. We employed the same interior finishing details found on our Workers Chino, including a two-piece waistband finished with binding and herringbone pocket bags from Japan.

The Deck Pant’s name is a nod to the military reproduction fabric it is made from. Weighing in at 10 ounces, this Japanese fabric features a dobby weave structure that gives the face of the pant a unique texture, similar to broken twill. This weave also adds durability. The inseam features flat felled construction for even more durability. Leaving no detail overlooked, we had real horn buttons custom made in Italy. We also washed the pant to remove shrinkage and make sizing easier. The Deck Pant is built for the long haul and ready for adventure.
