About the 13 Ounce Henley L/S Rust

The latest addition to our knit program has been a long time coming. We worked with a local knitting factory to develop our newest heavy weight henley. The 13 oz cotton knit has an open ended fiber which gives the henley a much drier, vintage look. All of the colors are pigment dyed, which yields a less saturated and more broken-in look. We have been collecting a color palate for close to a decade, looking for the perfect shades of our favorite colors. All of our henley colors are custom and unique to Freenote.

Amazing quality, not exactly formal wear...

This shirt will last a very long time. Be careful ordering too small since the thick material is not very stretchy and you may have issues getting it on and off. The rust color is a nice change and this can be an every-day shirt for the cooler days. Just remember that it is not the "clean" and "neat" style shirt you would expect from other brands. It almost looks used or broken in around the collar as if done on purpose.
The sleeves do go a bit longer than what was expected, so I do have to cuff them a little.

Not quite there

I returned the shirt. I ordered the rust color in my usual size that works for 80-90% of the shirts I buy. The material was very good but the cut wasn't quite right. The length seemed a tad short and it fit close in some areas and less so in others. I ordered the exact same style shirt from another higher-end brand and the cut was perfect - length and fit from my shoulders to waist. I usually don't have a problem with cut as I'm fairly well proportioned.

My biggest problem with the shirt and the main reason I returned it was that the neck opening was too large. This is a pet peeve of mine - t-shirts/sweatshirts/Henley's where the neck opening is too large.

A tertiary problem was that the color was too close to my skin color and didn't suit me. Usually, red tones work well for me but this was too faded and too orange/peach.

Great looking Henley. I have 4 boys and 2 son in laws. Purchased all colors for each of them for gifts, The fit material and quality worked for all. Fan of Freenote Cloth.

Awesome henley

Looking for a Henley with some heft to it and nice detailing and this is exactly what I was looking for. The fabric is great as is the coloring. I am 5’8” 160 lbs and the medium fits well. Probably could wear a small for a tighter fit but that is not what I wanted for this. Will buy another.

Thick and tough textile, slightly boxy cut, long sleeves

Take a bow for this one, Freenote. The cotton is thick and tough, and I can tell it can take serious wear. The cut is slightly boxy, and the sleeves and body length are both a little longer than I'd prefer but neither are a breaking point. I'm 5'10, 140lbs and went with a Medium, my regular Freenote size. The medium fits well though with some room to move. I was looking for a snugger fit, so I'm going to try a size small on my next Freenote Henley. Well done.
