    these are awesome

    I own a few different pieces from Freenote, and this might be one of their best products. The construction and materials are solid, the pocket is awesome, and the overall fit is perfect. Very pleased with this one.

    Great fit, tough fabric, may never need another

    Really awesome material. I've already been swimming in them a few times and they fit perfectly, true to size. They are cut shorter which I personally like, I feel more mobile in them. Out of the box they are pretty stiff, but I'm sure they'll age nicely just like Freenote's jeans. Only complaint is that the lowest button in the fly broke on day 1. That button is less functional than the other two so not that big of a deal. Just hope the other buttons hold up or else the world will get more of me than they probably want.

    Runs true to size with a comfortable cut in the waist. Quality material and bombproof construction as always. Love the copper button and waxed lace. Cannot wait to see how they age!

    The Cardon is our newest offering to our boardshort lineup. With a design focused on durability and utility, this boardshort is built for the beach and made to be worn in the water. The waist band is made up of six different pieces assembled into a curved shape for added comfort. The single pocket with our signature curved flap detail is positioned to the side and out of the way. The seams of the short are reinforced with triple needle construction.

    Made of a highly durable, premium nylon fabric from Japan. This short has been field tested both in and out of the water, and the nylon breaks in and improves over time. The waxed drawstring is from Japan and the woven label is from Italy. We make it our priority to source the finest materials. The Cardon is cut and sewn in Los Angles, California.
