Best Shirt Yet

The Calico Stripe was the first serious, expensive shirt I have purchased to add to my collection of quality clothing. After going through some buyer’s remorse while this was shipped, all was alleviated once I had it in my hands. The material feels durable, yet soft and comfortable against the skin. The bottom snaps are an absolute killer on this shirt and elevate to a whole other level! The pattern is simple, yet striking and I find myself grabbing this shirt from the closet for anything from a day out in town to a night out at a fancy restaurant to a family gathering. Anytime I wear this everyone first compliments the patterns and button snaps, then the feel of the material once they get close enough. Most everyone seems appalled at the price of a single shirt until they feel it and take a closer look, then they come to understand the justification. Nothing on this shirt felt like it had a compromise; every stitch, every feature, every part of this shirt feels like it was meant to be. The shape and contour of the chest pocket flaps that match the chest yoke is my favorite feature as it maintains a single button closure while still covering the whole pocket, is a unique feature I’ve never seen mimicked or done prior, and adds to the attention grabbing nature of Freenote’s clothing. This is the first but not last shirt I will be getting from Freenote as every attention to detail and construction is worth the cost!

If one were to look in my closet, they would find no shortage of Freenote Cloth. As a fanboi, I am always looking to increase that selection. So, it was a no brainer, when I saw that the Calico Stripe was available. I’m a consistent medium in Freenote, and the cut is on par with all of my other shirts. The texture is soft and color is vibrant, but my favorite part has got to be the buttons. From top to bottom, the buttons just nail it for me. I generally wear my top button closed, and with this shirt, that is definitely the case. I get more compliments on how fantastic the top buttons is, and my girl friend just loves the durability of those snaps… pop pop pop!
Fabulous work, on yet another wonderful piece of clothing.

The Calico shirt is our newest western style cut. We started with the sawtooth western design and modified it. We reduced the pocket flap design to one tooth or a single curved point. The curved front yoke matches the pocket flap curves which creates a classic styled western.

All of our woven shirts are sewn locally in Southern California. We measure each piece upon arrival and give you the actual measurements instead of a range. This shirt has been rinsed to remove all shrinkage. Fabrics can open up the more you wear them but when all shrinkage has been removed they will go back to the way you bought it.
