Really, Really Diggin it !

I had a deck Jacket and while they are Awesome for warmth and style, the alpaca collar and sleeves itched me enough to Bother me and felt a tad bulky. This jacket while still very warm has none of those issues. I replaced the deck jacket with this and Moved the deck jacket onto my brother in law. The brown color is richer and slightly darker in person and the outer and interior fabrics are amazing! The zipper is very unique and cool how its custom length leaves a very cool V opening at the top instead of going all the way up and where it starts at the bottom is also very cool. I’m really diggin the fit of this one too. The fit Reminds me of my new 17oz Freenote indigo trucker in a great way. Snaps on the front pockets rock too! Was in the 50’s today where I live in Texas so wore this bad boy out. Definitely seems like a timeless piece to me !

The CD-4 is Freenote’s interpretation of a classic ranch jacket. Featuring an alpaca/wool blend body lining with custom quilted and insulated satin sleeve lining from Japan, this jacket is an ideal choice when the temperature falls. The fabric is a Japanese pigment dyed plain weave that, like denim, will soften with wear and develop a unique patina as the pigment chips away in high wear areas. The jacket has a zip front and top button closure, pleat detailing on the body, and two patch pockets with side entry hand warming pockets underneath. Proudly cut and sewn in Los Angeles, California.

The CD-4 is a snug, form-fitting jacket. Those who are in between sizes or who wish to layer will likely want to size up from their most common jacket size. The body of the jacket features a cropped fit that lands just at or below the belt line. The sleeves are cut long enough to keep out the cold without bunching excessively. The body is trim with a modest taper from the chest to the opening, creating a silhouette that is accommodating yet tailored. The CD-4 is an excellent outerwear piece for anyone who wants the warmth of a winter coat with the classic styling of a denim jacket.
