About the Faro Jacket Black Heavy Waxed Canvas

The Faro is Freenote’s interpretation of a classic ranch jacket. The fit is slightly cropped with extra room in the chest and shoulders. Paired with a pleated body and zippered front, the Faro is a tough work jacket with a subtle western influence. This version is built to endure the cold, featuring a heavyweight 20 Ounce Waxed Canvas and custom 11 ounce Japanese flannel lining. Design details include Freenote’s own concho rivets, Japanese "Universal" reproduction zippers, and patch on pockets with side-entry flannel-lined hand warming pockets. Proudly cut and sewn in Los Angeles, California.

New favorite jacket

This is such a fantastic jacket. Perfect weight, nice and heavy structure but not hot and not restrictive in any way. The details are incredible and the construction feels rock solid. Everything about it feels classic and well studied from legendary icons but original at the same time, especially in black. I'm not a tall guy, and the crop and sleeve length are perfect. I can't think of a better outfit than raw denim, good boots, my new Freenote white T shirt and this jacket. I'm so glad I snagged the last one tonight. Sorry.
