customerservice@The CD-3 has been two years in the making. We spent time updating the pattern and sourcing the split hide from the Italy. We are making a small batch of these jackets, as it takes roughly a day to make one jacket. It is cut by one person and sewn by a master sewer. The CD-3 is a truly unique piece and will be offered as a limited edition.
For the construction of the CD-3, we built off of our denim jacket silhouette and modified it. We started by removing the front patch pockets and changed the side pockets to welts. The cuff is modified and the classic zigzag is updated to double needle. We added fringe to the seams which was traditionally used for wicking water away from the garment. The fringe helps the water to run off the garment. However, we do not recommend testing this out with this jacket because the rain can change the shade of the leather.
