About the CD-3 Gold Suede

The CD-3 has been two years in the making. We spent time updating the pattern and sourcing the split hide from the Italy. We are making a small batch of these jackets, as it takes roughly a day to make one jacket. It is cut by one person and sewn by a master sewer. The CD-3 is a truly unique piece and will be offered as a limited edition.

Beautiful retro style, undersized

I have worn a medium vs large jacket my entire adult life. I am tall and thin, 6’4, 39 inch chest. The way I measure is that in a long jacket I am a medium, a cropped or waist length jacket I shoot for a large.
Seems like Freenote has a Japanese effect in terms of measurement: the size being the total measurement rather than an American size being “to fit X size”.
I ordered a 46 in this and it fits me perfectly. Idk, the fit on this jacket is a little off as I am a 40 American, 42 to 44 Japanese usually. But other than this element, I must say this jacket is absolutely stunning. I have never seen anything like it in real life before.
Would I recommend this jacket? Absolutely
Would I recommend measuring a well fitting jacket and comparing it to the measurements of this jacket? Yes

These jackets run exceptionally small, and I wear a 38 or a 40 and have for the last 25 years. The 42 in this jacket won't even snap closed. I recommend ordering two or three sizes larger unless you just want to wear your jacket With a T-shirt and have it be skin tight.

Love my eye catching Gold Suede Fringed Jacket

Back in the late 60s and early 70s I had a great buckskin suede fringe jacket that made me feel like I
was a member of Buffalo Springfield. I was really bummed when I left it with a "friend" while traveling
and it wasn't there when I got back.
For years I have looked in vain for a fit replacement and then "Voila" I saw the Freenote Cloth
CD-3 gold suede jacket online and it was love at first sight. It was even better than I imagined when it
very quickly arrived. This is top notch quality. Feels Fabulous & Looks fabulous!
I am already getting "great jacket" comments when I am out.
When I first tried on my size 44 I was concerned it might be a bit snug.
Andrew, one of the owners, went out of his way to call me about my concerns.
His advice that it would loosen with wear proved true.
Now I can layer or just wear it over a t shirt.
The lining is as comfortable as it is spectacular in color & design.
