About the 13 Ounce Henley L/S Faded Blue

The latest addition to our knit program has been a long time coming. We worked with a local knitting factory to develop our newest heavy weight henley. The 13 oz cotton knit has an open ended fiber which gives the henley a much drier, vintage look. All of the colors are pigment dyed, which yields a less saturated and more broken-in look. We have been collecting a color palate for close to a decade, looking for the perfect shades of our favorite colors. All of our henley colors are custom and unique to Freenote.

Classic Piece

Like every other item I have purchased, the shirt is perfection. Impeccable detail, outstanding comfort.

I highly recommend visiting the Flagship store, if possible. The ability to try things on greatly facilitates the online ordering process.

Henley Heaven

The choice of henleys out there is endless and FC nails it with the thick jersey cotton and great colors in their line up. The faded blue is my favorite color and it’s a piece that will always be in style and go with everything. Definitely a go to when I want to keep things comfortable and simple.

My first Freenote piece

I've been building up my wardrobe with alot of Freenote Cloth items, but it all started with the henley.

I happened upon a discounted one at a retailer that has some minor coloration issues, and used store credits to get it. At the time, I wasn't quite comfortable with shelling out full price for a basic, but I thought I might as well try it out if I could get one for cheaper... just to see what a higher end piece was like.

When I got it, I really understood what a difference in quality that this henley was from ones that I've owned before. The stitching is sturdy. The fit lands in the sweetspot between slim and roomy; it's not too tight, and not too baggy. The fabric is hefty without being bulky, and combined with the fit, it drapes in just the right way. The weight makes it perfect for layering when you're warm, but not so thick that you can't wear it in warmer conditions. The mother of pearl buttons provide that nice colorful pop to the discerning eye.... it's all in the details.

It's a simple piece but I was sufficiently impressed by the quality and feel... that I may or may not have picked up every color... I feel like the Thanos of henleys, and I've completed my infinity closet.

Some minor critques: I have longer arms for my frame, and the sleeves are just a hair too long. Not a bit deal I roll up once or twice. Also, the color fastness might vary between units; I've washed all of my henleys in the same way, and one of them had some streaks after I pulled it out of the wash. Not a big deal, it actually plays well with the garment dyed nature of the henley, but just be aware.

Conclusion: These are now my basic drivers for when it's just a bit too hot in the day, and just a bit too cool at night, which is most days of the year. They've become my uniform!

Awesome shirt. Great quality and comfort, casual looking but still substantial enough to look nice, washes beautifully too

My favorite shirt ever

I bought a grey version of the Henley at a store and it’s pretty much all I wear now, weather permitting. Had to get the others that were available but some were sold out in medium. When will they be back in stock???
