Don't play around with pocket shirts - details matter. The way the pocket tapers in at the top and the bar tacks keep the top nice and flat- don't shrug it off - that's key - you don't want some loosey goosey flippity floppity hangin around pocket. This shirt is the right weight - you can handle it don't worry. Cold wash hang dry didn't affect the dimensions.

I am 5' 8'' - 150lb with a slightly wider chest - and ended up feeling comfortable in size Medium.

I originally ordered a Small but the chest measurements are no lie - and it was too tight for me. I usually like shirts with a 40" chest measurement (pit-to-pit doubled). I thought the slightly wider shoulders would help but ended up needing to go for the bigger size. Freenote folks were very responsive and helpful with the exchange.

This is my third Freenote 13oz T-shirt. Absolutely my favorite T-shirt on the market right now. There is something great about a cotton T-shirt that you can accidentally throw in the dryer and never be concerned about shrinkage. For reference I’m 6ft 183lbs and these fit near perfect. I wear a large pretty much across the board in Freenote from outerwear to wovens. Looking forward to more colors and weights in the future.

Absolute best made / favorite T

For construction, fit, feel, durability, and color - this is the best T I have found after years of searching. Love it in 13 and 9 oz. Love it in Olive, Tobacco, and Midnight.

Perfection.

Sturdy Tee for Jeans or as an Undershirt

An exceptional T. The fabric is substantial, and it did not appear to shrink materially after washing. Slightly longer length for tucking in, if desired. I bought a large. I am 5’10” and 166 pounds; I wear a 40R sport coat, and my waist is approximately 34”. I don’t like clingy tees, and I like the fit. It’s sufficiently roomy without looking like it came from Omar’s Tent Shop…

The latest addition to our knit program has been a long time coming. We worked with a local knitting factory to develop our newest heavy weight t-shirt. The 13 oz cotton knit has an open ended fiber which gives the shirt a much drier, vintage look. All of the colors are custom to Freenote. We have been collecting a color palate for close to a decade, looking for the perfect shades of our favorite colors. All of our t-shirt colors are custom and unique to Freenote.

Perfecting the fit of a knit is surprisingly difficult. The fabric can move and stretch with limited seams to control it. We have spent years making adjustments until we landed on what we consider to be the perfect fit. This t-shirt has a great balance of being not too slim and not too boxy. Because our t-shirts are not tubular, they have more shape from the chest to the bottom hem.
