About the Alcorn Wool Cedar Plaid

The Alcorn Jacket takes its cues from 1940s field jackets we've collected over the years, pairing practical utility with a timeless cut built for everyday wear. For this production, we developed a custom 12.5 ounce wool plaid, woven in Japan from 100% British wool. Warm, durable, and built to weather the elements, The Alcorn is equally at home hunting or running around town.

The body of the jacket is lined with Japanese moleskin for added comfort in cold weather, while dual-entry hand pockets and side cinch tabs provide functionality and an adjustable fit. Finished with 1/8" double-needle stitching, custom Italian horn buttons, and YKK metal snaps, The Alcorn is built to hold up season after season. As always, Freenote Cloth is proudly sewn in the USA.
