high end construction, worth every penny. Mine have had to be repaired a few times, but I was looking for a replacement pair now, and the zipper has been replaced with buttons!

Staggering beautiful and perfectly fitted, cut, sewn, and tailored jeans. These are by far and away my best fitting jeans right out of the box. The weight and feel is perfect and the grey inside is such a nice yet subtle touch. Evidently, there's nothing that Freenote Cloth cannot do less than perfectly. Customer for life, without a doubt.

These are my favorite jeans, bar none. Love the craftsmanship and cut. Unfortunately mine suffered a crotch blowout after four months, and then 2-3 more blow-outs in the months to come, despite multiple tailor visits. After ten months I had to replace them, much as I loved them, just when the fades were really coming in! I did it anyway, because they're that good—but I wish they lasted longer for the money.

Having just picked up these Avilas a few weeks ago, I confess to being late to the Freenote Cloth party. Now I am turning on to their line of shirts and tees, as well as thinking toward some great looking jackets for this fall.

As for the Avila denim: great sewing, cool details and vintage inspired pockets, a beautiful back patch and an unusual black and grey weave. The coup de grace is the fit - slim but casual, will likely fit over most boots, lowish rise, and a standout design that doesn't work too hard at being different. If the shirts are sewn anywhere close precision of the denim (and I hear they are) I will be won over in earnest.

As a pleasant aside: customer service via phone and email was superb, and shipping was quick and tidy.
