Belford Straight 14.50 Ounce Kaihara Denim

Great jeans all around. Flattering fit for someone with bigger thighs and rear. Super soft and don’t stretch out too much after wearing (something I was specifically looking for). The only thing I would change is make the pockets an inch deeper. You don’t have to go crazy, just a little bit more. Freenote is really the only brand I buy jeans from now, and I’m good with that.

I ordered a pair of the Belford 15oz but they ended up being out of my size. After I emailed I got a call from Andrew letting me know they were out but offering Kaihara as an alternative. Just got them today and the fit is exactly what I was hoping for and the denim itself is beautiful. I can count on one hand the amount of reviews I've left in my life, but Freenote went out of their way to call me and I really thought that was dope. Thanks guys!!

High rise fits incredible. These are the smartest, coolest looking jeans I have come across. By far I would say.

Like any great article of clothing, it has the potential to hit a artful level when you view it. Often indescribable. Often you cannot describe what you are seeing. You simply know this works. Works well, or even crushes it.

I work at a Tier 1 Bank. I can wear these with a sports coat. And look cool. smart/ grown up (no skinny, please).

I can also wear them with a pair of boots or loafers, and a tee. My wife and her friends dig these jeans. Not gonna lie: I like this. Noticeably.

Guys, I’m 6’1 190. My 2 athletic hobbies are mountain biking and golfing (walk more than taking a cart) which means I have decent sized thighs and butt. I own these in size 33. Size 34, for me, was just a bit too big. Size 33, when brand new, had a “comfortable snug fit.” I would say they have stretched about 1/2 an inch and now fit perfect. The only thing i would improve is the depth of the front pockets, i think they should be deeper. I have an iPhone 11 and it’s uncomfortable to sit down with the phone inside my pocket. I own the Deck Pants in size 32 (perfect fit) and the depth of those pockets is absolutely perfect! Other than the pocket depth, these are a 4.9/5 pair of jeans, they’re the real deal. Money well spent.

People do not realize how hard it is for avid athletes and bigger body types to find high end denim. I’m talking tree trunk power legs. I have tried every brand that touted “athletic fit” and “straight leg” and if you want something high-end as well as not breaking the bank - you need to go with the Belford.

I probably could have taken a size down but since I was new to the brand I didn’t want to chance a wash and shrink situation. True to size seems to be on point. The denim is tight and smooth and should result in a great contrast as it breaks in due to the glorious indigo.

Since the last several years of fashion seemed to only give out slim fit, this is a great change of pace especially
If you missed a classic fit straight leg similar to the original fit of a classic dungaree. There’s room to let your calves breathe without feeling like you’ve got a ton of excess fabric at the leg opening.

Paired with the Rider jacket these look great dressed up or down. Will definitely be a repeat purchase once needed.
