Beautiful unique fabric, short cut

I saw this jacket and knew I had to have it. The fabric is unique and I love the pleated style of this jacket with the cinch in the back. Old school style.
The fabric has a beautiful and comfortable wash to it. It feels heavy weight while being light weight. Excited to put more use in it.
I quite like everything except this jacket except the length. I am tall and thin and usually wear a size medium jacket/t shirt. I thought this looked somewhat short and was right; I ordered a size large to be cinched in the back. A size large barely hit my belt line. I suppose that’s the style of this jacket but was hoping it’d be slightly longer. If you are over 6 feet, size up
