About the Classic Denim Jacket 16 Ounce Denim

This jacket was one of the first pieces we designed for the birth of Freenote. It quickly became a staple and we consider it our version of the classic trucker style jacket. We modified the design of the front chest patch pockets by adding a curved shape to the flap and pocket. Switched the typical welt pockets with a pocket built into the front panels of the jacket.
Like our original model we brought back the interior pockets that are perfect for your wallet.

nice fitted jacket

I'm 6-2 and 220lbs. Jacket is pretty short for those with a long torso. I have long arms also and I'd consider them about 1/2 inch shorter than I'd prefer. Even with that said, it's like a heavy shirt for me. A thin t-shirt with this jacket is perfect for cool afternoons. If you're my size, don't expect to wear anything more than a t-shirt under it. I've had this for about 4 years and like it.

Also my first jean jacket

I'm 6'2" and 185lbs and purchased an XL size.

One cold gentle cycle in the washer and a hang dry later, it fits pretty well.
My complaints are that the sleeves are a bit short on me and the front pockets are really small and shallow. Also the cloth around the buttons frays a lot as you open and close them.

It fits well with just a T shirt or a henley but you can't really layer anything. If I were to buy this again, I'd probably size up if I wanted to layer.

My First Jean Jacket

This is my first ever denim jacket, as I was looking to vary garments up. Freenote's look and overall design above all other unlined of this type had the most appeal. At 170 lbs 6'2" with some layering the XL 22.5" chest fits great. Oh, and it does not have a bad off smell like some brands and or colors I have experienced. I am hearing this is a new model of the jacket design fit, and all I can say is it does fit better relative to earlier, as I did have occasion to try in previous that ended up being too large on me.
