About the Classic Denim Jacket 17 Ounce Indigo Slub Denim

This jacket was one of the first pieces we designed for the birth of Freenote. It quickly became a staple and we consider it our version of the classic trucker style jacket. We modified the design of the front chest patch pockets by adding a curved shape to the flap and pocket. Switched the typical welt pockets with a pocket built into the front panels of the jacket.
Like our original model we brought back the interior pockets that are perfect for your wallet.

Perfect fit! Nailed it !

I’m a FN fan. It’s all I wear. At 5’11” 195 I usually wear a M across the board for a smart fit. Luv the 17oz cuz currently I live in Texas and it gets cold enough to want a tougher fabric like this. My other current jackets are the FN horsehide black leather and a Gold alpaca lined Mariner. For this one I sized up to a Large as recommended and I couldn’t be happier with the fit. It came raw and I wore it for a few days before deciding to give it a cold bath tub soak for 25 with a drop of Light detergent to remove some of the stiffness and starch and such. Hang dry for a couple days then upon trying it back on my impression is that it maybe tightened up just a hair all over maybe 1/8 of inch or so to make it fit so legit ! Perfecto guys ! Rock on! One of the things I really like about it is the fact that I can wear it open but it’s also a comfortable but very well fit buttoned up, which I think is a difficult thing to balance.
