This is the 8" version of John Lofgren's classice Lace-to-Toe Boot, the Donkey Puncher. The burly construction logger-style boot is pair with an exception vegetable tanned leather from Badalassi Carlo tannery in Italy. This natural leather starts off a light "bone" color that will quickly darken with use, and will exhibit a rich depth of patina telling a story unique to the wearer. These boots will look and feel better with each and every wear.
John Lofgren’s 120 last runs large. We recommend 1 size smaller than your size as measured on a Brannock device. For those with wide feet, we recommend 0.5 size down from your Brannock size.
If you do not know your Brannock size, we recommend 1 size smaller than your most common sneaker size, 0.5 size smaller than your Red Wing Iron Ranger size, 0.5 size smaller than your Alden Barrie last size, or the same size as your Viberg 2030 last size. This fit similarly to the Lofgren Combat Boot, and most people will take the same size in both the Lofgren Combat Boot and the Steel Gang Boot.

About the John Lofgren - Donkey Puncher - Badalassi Carlo Vegetable Tanned Bone Leather
My other and first pair of John Lofgren’s is the Shinki horse side Roper also sold here it is phenomenal. I messaged John Lofgren on Instagram asking a couple questions and he message back that this is the first 8 inch donkey puncher produced so you’re getting something special.!!! He also told me that the speed hooks used are military spec/grade of the high quality. I am absolutely loving the chunky nature of the boot and the design profile. . Every little detail of this boot is perfect and well worth the money. In my opinion. The interior is lined with ultra soft Japanese horse side. Don’t let the price scare you. It is well worth it and in my opinion for what you’re getting probably worth more it rocks.!!!!!!! I’d rather have two pair of John Lofgren‘s then 10 pairs of other boots so that’s what I did.
