FREENOTE CLOTH X WHITE'S BOOTS - RAINIER OXFORD - HORWEEN BROWN HORSEHIDE

American workwear has always been one of the biggest inspirations here at Freenote. Naturally, when an opportunity to work with one of the all-time great Made in the USA brands presented itself, we didn't hesitate. White's Boots has been around since 1853 (not a typo, they have been cranking out boots since the mid eighteen-hundreds). Built to the highest standards, White's is a household name with loggers and wildland firefighters in the Pacific Northwest. Their boots are designed with durability and all-day comfort as the top priorities.

The Rainier Oxford is a popular style in the Japanese market for White's Boots. Rarely making an appearance outside of Japan, we thought this style was long overdue to hit the US market. The midsole delete results in a shoe that's surprisingly light by White's standards. We upgraded the leather to Horween's Horsehide leather in brown. Paired with the easy-going Northwest last, these shoes are comfortable yet refined, and make a great option for days when a sneaker just won't cut it.
