High Low Denim Jacket Broken Twill

The High Low is the newest addition to the Freenote line of denim jackets. Taking inspiration from the ranchers and cowboys of our hometown San Juan Capistrano, we took the classic type III pattern and made it our own with a cropped, boxy fit that pairs perfectly with high-waisted denim or chinos. We added our signature slanted pockets for a bit of western flair and deleted the welted hand warmer pockets in favor of integrated pockets that are part of the seam itself. Whether you’re saddling up to the bar for a night at your favorite dive, or hopping into an actual saddle, the High Low is up to the task.

We outfitted the High Low in our custom 14 ounce Broken Twill, the first custom denim that we developed with our friends from Yoshiwa Mills in Japan. The zig zag weave pattern of the fabric was originally developed by Wrangler to combat twisting of the fabric due to shrinkage. When washed cold and hung to dry, shrinkage is minimal with this fabric, but the weave results in unique fades and an ultrasoft hand feel when broken in. We suggest pairing this jacket with some engineer boots and our Duster pant for an effortless, classic look, or for those looking to lean in to the western aesthetic, the matching High Low and Wilkes Broken Twill combo never fails.
