It's alright..

I've come to expect better from Freenote Cloth to be honest. While I like the herringbone pattern and the fact it's intent is to be worn as an overshirt, the only way this makes sense as an overshirt is if you are wearing a high neck undershirt or something with a substantial collar. At the end of the day, my neck was irritated like no other. I would've liked to have seen Freenote put some lining around the neckline; not necessarily the collar itself, but at least the neckline and I think a lining at the cuffs would've made this a true overshirt. Also it's not by any means thick wool so keep that in mind when you are sizing. I sized up one from my normal Freenote size (42-43 chest) and wore a heavyweight thermal henley underneath.
