Introducing the Midway CPO. This shirt is inspired by the M42 HBT uniform, one of the most commonly issued uniforms for American soldiers in World War II. The boxy fit and oversized pockets were practical necessities of a functional wartime garment. Viewed through a civilian lens, these design elements lend themselves to a distinctive and stylish garment.

Great CPO shirt from Freenote. Great quality as always with Freenote. Can’t wait to break this out in Fall.

Great Garment

I love the fit and look of this CPO shirt. The marine twill looks great in person and feels very sturdy. I think it’ll need to be worn a bit to “break it in” because the weave is so tight. It also requires time and patience to iron out any wrinkles in the fabric, if there are any after washing. I’m very pleased with my purchase (and I bought at the normal $400 price). On sale for $300, it’s a no-brainer.
