About the Modesto 16 Ounce Indigo Denim

Introducing fit number 7, the Modesto. The newest fit in the denim line-up is based on workwear fits from the turn of the century. A high rise and straight leg with no taper, combine to create a timeless silhouette that is wide, comfortable, and functional. This fit has quickly become a favorite at Freenote Headquarters. Design details include button fly construction, a two-piece waistband, and acorn shaped back pockets with bar tack reinforcements.

Excellent comfortable jeans

These are my go-to jeans since I got them. They are extremely rad. Modesto is my new favorite cut. I, like a lot of folks, am ready to embrace a looser fit. These seemed too baggy at first, but now I’m 100% down with Modesto.

The most amazing pair of jeans ever

I’m 6’2” and could never found a pair of selvedge jeans with a rise and inseam long enough. This cut is the answer to my prayers. Not for the faint of heart.

Best Jeans Ever

As someone who has spent the better part of the last two years recovering from a skinny jeans addiction, I never thought I'd try a looser cut like these. However, I'm absolutely blown away by the Modesto jeans. The rise is incredible, exactly where I hoped it would be. Construction is unparalleled. The colour is some of the deepest indigo I've ever seen. Simply put, these are the perfect jeans.
