Introducing our newest pant, the Ortega. Taking cues from the classic workwear pants that helped build America, we sought to create something that could stand up to the rigors of the job site, while remaining stylish, comfortable, and timeless. We designed the fit with a roomy rise, full seat, and ample thigh room for mobility and comfort, opting for a true straight-leg silhouette that doesn’t taper. Hardwearing construction features include reinforced double knees with debris cleanouts, reinforced back pockets, double hammer loops, 1/8” sewing details, and custom woven labels made in the USA. For the fabric, we sourced a raw 10 ounce herringbone from Japan. The pocket bags, back pocket reinforcements, and interior double knee reinforcements all feature indigo ticking, except on the white version, which features a tan herringbone reinforcement fabric
We recommend hand washing or washing on the gentle cycle with no spin cycle for the first few washes. This will allow the fabric to relax and soften, and prevent any unwanted wrinkling, as the fabric is stiff and starchy to begin with. Like denim, the fabric will mold to the wearer and become incredibly soft with repeated wear and washing. The Ortega is built to stand the test of time. Proudly cut and sewn in the USA.
