Great selvedge jeans .. love the fit and the cut is perfect for me . Highly recommend !

Couldn’t be happier with my purchase.

The fit is perfect. The quality is astounding. They’re pretty stiff at first but they’re breaking in so nicely! The customer service at their store front was great and super helpful. I don’t think I’ll ever buy another brand of jeans.

Denim for chicken legs

If you're looking at this product and you see "full-thigh" "taper" and you're thinking "these might fit my thick thighs" -it wont. If you can pistol squat your body weight these will fit you like 512's.
Size chart was of no use, I could not figure out what the thigh measurement was until I got the jeans and decoded that Freenote has decided they're the one manufacturer that measures "thigh" via the circumference of the thigh opening without specifying.
Tracking number provided with my order didn't work.
One star experience only backed up by the fact that the denim is nice. Disappointing.

Comfortable and Tapered

Yet another jeans that fit perfectly. After several purchases from other labels I tried the Portola and it fit perfectly. I enjoyed the roomy top block without being baggy. I appreciated the taper because I am a shorter, athletic build.

I like the balance of the 14.25 ounce. It's not too heavy but adds enough drape and keep you cool (I live in the Bay Area) without being too hot in the warmer seasons.

Definitely worth the purchase if you value mobility with aesthetics when it comes to a pair of jeans.

Only pair of black jeans you’ll ever need

These jeans only get better with time and wear and are going to last you years.

The fit is great with enough room but still a nice tapered look without being slim.
