Riders Jacket Heavy Waxed Canvas Tobacco Wool

Would sleep in this jacket if i could.

I love the look, weight of the jacket and the feeling of the inner wool lining. I'm 5'8" and 180 lbs and hence, got the M. It fit well except that, reaching my front or side pickets is hard and restricted. I also noticed some neck pain, and started to realize it might because the design kind of restricts head movement, that my neck starts to hurt after wearing it for more than 2 hours. If the pain pertains, I will sadly try to sell it (after having it for less than 2 months).

Well.. where do I start with this jacket? This is a beautiful, sturdy yet supple, warm iteration of the Rider’s. The waxed canvas fabric is substantial but has already softened nicely, and I’m sure will patina beautifully over time. The wool lining makes this jacket suitable to wear anywhere from the mid thirties to fifties (best guess as it’s still winter). This is an incredible jacket and one that I’ll be reaching for an awful lot in the years to come.

I am a large in the regular RJ1, and the large here fits me well too. I’m 6ft, 185lbs, 40 inch chest.

Love the jacket and color ! This 20oz patina is freaking amazing !! Totally diff that my 20oz tobacco. Bought even color way of Freenote made in a 2xl.

I live in central Texas Dallas area and it gets down in the high 30’s 40’s for a bit so got this for that time of year. My first canvas rider and like how it feels only lightly waxed. I’m 5’11” 195 lift light weights 3 times a week and I got L. Fits real nice with a T but could also layer if I wanted. 20oz canvas is rad and so is the wool lining. Really like how the lining is inspired by indian Blanket. Jacket feels so solid and special. My other 2 jackets are the goatskin rider got a 42 and the vintage blue trucker jacket got a L. I’m set for now. Luv all 3!!!
