Amazing product, very warm, heavier than it looks. Not the most "daily-able" jacket, but I have been wearing it almost every day, and it's just such a wonderful garment. Really gives off that masculine look. 100% would recommend

Simply Awesome!

Just got this jacket yesterday and I'm very impressed with it.
I'm 5'7", 150 lbs and ordered it in a medium.
When I first put it on I thought I made a mistake and should've purchased a large instead.
It was snug and very stiff.
But today, after wearing it a lot it has molded to me and loosened up quite a bit.
It's perfect with an LL Bean waffle knit henley with a little room to spare. Like this, it's good down to 35 or so.
I can fit a thin wool hoodie with that shirt under it for colder weather too.
The color is interesting; more like the color of the blue wool lined one on the site.
The under color is a dark tan with a mottled grayish/black mixed in. From a few feet away it almost looks like a dark sage green; very nice.
The wool lining looks KILLER and is definitely warmer than the Shelter Cloth lining of my Filson Tin Cloth Short Lined Cruiser.
My only negative comment is that the chest pockets should be a bit larger and also have a buttoned flap cover for security.
I would even prefer if it only had one chest pocket as I prefer that look.
No doubt it's an expensive jacket, but the construction and materials are top notch.

Perfect Jacket? Possibly.

I’m absolutely in love with the style and feel of this jacket. First jacket I think I’ve put on and said “This is it. This is what I’ve been looking for.”

I think it encompasses everything I could ask for in any jacket. Keeps me warm without needing to layer in 40°F weather, I can only imagine how it holds up when the winter really kicks off. Wind doesn’t feel like it breaks through the seams.

The canvas itself feels thicker than other brands and duck canvas that I’ve felt, the wool is nice and rough for longevity, sleeves lined with softer material that keeps you warm.

I have no doubts this thing will outlive me.
