      About the Rios 15 Ounce Brown Denim

      Introducing one of our favorites in the Freenote Cloth collection – 15 Ounce Brown Denim. Woven exclusively for Freenote by Yoshiwa Mills in Japan, this denim features a brown warp and black weft with signature Freenote antique gold selvedge ticking. The black weft has a touch of slub while the texture of the warp side is smooth and clean as the denim is singed in the finishing process. Over time, the brown dye will chip away to reveal the black core underneath. With enough wear, the black dye will start to fade as well, resulting in high contrast fades in areas of the fabric subjected to the most wear.

      This pair of denim is somid as they come! Absolutely worth the momey! Great unique look with the black weft. This pair hits every point perfectly in what im looking for. The med. rise is perfect! Mot too squished not too loose. I sized up one size from other pairs from different companies because of being too snug. low rise pairs. This pair does everything. Although i dont care too much if i had to say one thing id wish this pair did differently would be the selvedge id go a little further up the pant legs inside incase one wanted to double cuff or big cuff.
      Basically the perfect pair of denim. Weight is not too heavy definitely not too light. If anything they are hardy and quite stiff. for 15oz. But i love that i know they will soften up like sweats in no time! Thank you Freenote cloth!

      STIFF but the FIT

      VERY stiff denim but the fit is so great. Hopefully over time they will soften but for now, they are crisp and clean and so easy to dress up or down. Probably my most versatile pair of Freenotes.

      What a great pant

      Saw these while browsing Freenote and knew I had to try them on. What a great pair of pants. Loved the heft of the denim and the fit was spot on. You can’t go wrong buying Freenote products. They may not be the cheapest but you’re getting what you’re paying for. I’m pretty hard on clothes so I am always looking for quality materials that can stand up to abuse. I must own at least 5 pairs of Freenote jeans and just as many chinos. I own a bunch of their waxed jackets in all colors and heavy cotton shirts. After wearing them for years I am still in love with the quality and have yet to wear anything out.

      If you’re fence sitting, pull the trigger. You will not regret it. Keep it up Freenote.
