RJ-2 Waxed Canvas 20 Ounce Tobacco

This is my new favorite Freenote Cloth Jacket. Incredible piece. While heavy, I am able to move with ease in it. I am a naked 6'2" 40" chest at 170 lb and like to layer a sweater under a hoodie. As such, I went for a XL. Empirically, I scored a 24.5" chest on the jacket, but it ~tappers down well, so the jacket does not oddly bell or fish tale in the back on me unzipped. While zipped up, it hugs the torso perfectly. Sleeves were half an inch short relative to the current chart, but are plenty long at 26.5". It would be nice to compare to the L's actual dimensions, but I don't need to, as the fit is so good with said layers I wear in the cold. When first evaluating it to keep it, it passed on all cylinders of form, function, feel against the skin, and yes smell too. To date this IS my winter coat. The canvas on it I received is substantial and darker than pictured. Well done.

Amazing coat. Built like a tank. Can't wait to put some wear on it and break it in. I wear a Large In the riders jacket and this jacket fit perfectly in Extra Large. Would recommend sizing up x1 from your normal Freenote size.

The RJ-2 is a beautiful coat. First quality in every respect. A note on sizing. I am an athletic build, size 42 Reg in a business suit. This coat in Large fits snugly. Not much room for layering. But it seems warm enough that not much layering is needed.
